Serenity at Sugar | Sugar Wharf Port Douglas | Landscape Photography

Captured at first light with a clear sunrise over 4 Mile Beach, the Port Douglas Sugar Wharf is perfectly highlighted with a magenta blue hour behind her.

Sugar Wharf Long Exposure Photography

‘Serenity at Sugar’ shows the stunning Port Douglas Sugar wharf at it’s finest. The iconic landmark is today used predominantly as a wedding venue, but back in the day it was the heart and sole of the region. Running sugar down to Cairns from here was a must when the bump track was inaccessible and unusable.

Captured at first light with a clear sunrise over 4 Mile Beach, the Port Douglas Sugar Wharf is perfectly highlighted with a magenta blue hour behind her.
